The main character Shane Hunter is a lot like Sean Hunter from Boy Meets World in that they both don't want to open up to people, and are resentful for the cards life dealt them.
The character Bree in the novel is like Marcellus Wallace's wife in Pulp Fiction. She does drugs, overdoses on cocaine and almost dies. Mia Wallace is just like Bree because they both have drug problems.
Bree reminds me alot of the main character in the movie Requiem for a Dream; Harry Goldfarb. Both of them are addicted to substances, and want better things with their life, but they both can not get them because of the way the substance controls them.
I think that Bree can be compared to the main character in the movie crazy beautiful. They both have parents that do care about them but they don't really believe it and start to go down the wrong path. They both also get into relationships with guys that at points probably are not he best for them. They truly are good people but get caught up in the wrong things.
Julie and Robin are alot like Jamie in a walk to remember, because they both change the world, and people without even knowing. And they all died young from a horrible fate.
Bella relates to the main character in the Mediator series, Suze Simon, because Bella is not afraid of the vampires in her city, even though they could kill her at any moment, and Suze isn't afrain of all the ghosts she meets, even though they could make her life horrible.
Bella, in Twilight, is smart, funny, shy, and very interesting. I'd say she compares well with the main character in Garden State. Her name is Samantha, and she's very intelligent - but she's also not some insanely hyper, open character. She, like Bella, really starts to express herself once she gets to know the other characters.
Bella is like Betty, in Ugly Betty. They are both clumsy, and they both are staying with the one they love even if they could quite possibly be hurt by them.
***Twilight*** Bella can be compared to any girl in love. Bella would do anything to be with Edward and is so mushy gushy over him. It reminds me of how every girl in High School will act with their boyfriend.
The main character, Bella, is like Monica from Freinds. She reminds me of her because they are both sarcastic, and they also fall in love with someone unexpected. Monica falls in love with Chandler on the show, and Bella falls in love with Edward.
I would compare Brent to Callie from the book Cut, because they both cut themselves at some point, and although Callie did eventually open up to her psychitrist, both seemed to resist talking about why they hurt themselves in the beginning.
Bella and Edward are a lot like the couple in the notebook, because they overcome so many obstacles, are seperated for a time, but when they finally meet again, are even more in love.
